MREStar MRE Meal Kit with Heaters

There are six separate menus, and each menu is repeated. Although all the menu descriptions sound nice, unfortunately, they are not all tasty. As with our review of the A-PACK MRE kit, you would not want to eat these for anything other than a dire emergency. This really isn’t worth the $7.50 price per meal. Despite the packaging, they don’t seem to have real U.S. military components.

Wounded Ronin gives a review of the Eversafe MRE on the Bullshido website. Money quotes:

  1. The entrees are the same ones you’ve come to know and love in the military version. However, the Eversafe only contains one entree, whereas the military version contains 2.
  2. The lack of the magic peanut butter and cheese is definitely a loss of value.
  3. Eversafes…guaranteed fresh, and pretty good for the price.

APack MRE Meal Kit with Heaters

The meals are very monotonous. Every single MRE package contains cookies, toaster pastry, peanut butter and crackers. To add insult to injury, all the toaster pastries in our pack were crushed. Furthermore, the case we received was old. It had a production date of June, 2011.

This really is an emergency meal. You would not want these for anything other than a dire emergency. In short, it really isn’t worth the $8 price per meal.
