By now, you’ve probably heard of the growing focus that many people have on preparing for a disaster. It’s certainly a good idea for all families to have a basic plan to survive an emergency. Generally, this means ensuring that you have enough food and water for each family member for 72 hours.

Preppers, however, take their focus on preparing for a disaster more seriously than most. This National Geographic Channel documentary, called Doomsday Preppers, focuses on four families who are preparing for the complete breakdown of society. They are making certain that if the worst were to happen, they and their family members will be able to survive. You can also check out an introduction on youtube.
